2011 Goals

 

These goals were originally featured in my New Years Day 2011 post.

This page will regularly feature my progress towards meeting my goals.

My 2011 Goals

1.  Waste less time

2.  Read a chapter of the bible every day

3.  Drink more water

4.  Read at least one book a month

FINISHED 8/11Just Don’t Fall: How I Grew Up, Conquered Illness, and Made It Down the Mountain by Joshua Sundquist

Started but not finished: Beard on Food: The Best Recipes and Kitchen Wisdom from the Dean of American Cooking by James Beard, John Adamsby David McCullough

5.  Improve my fitness by going to the gym twice a week and doing sit ups and push ups on off days

Began PIPES Challenge 3/21/11

Ran first 5k 4/30/11

Began 3000 in 35 Challenge 7/1/11

Ran second 5k 7/16/11

6.  Open our home at least once a month

Co-workers for dinner, 1/23/11

Brian’s parents for Easter dinner 4/24/11

7.  Give Relishments a makeover - DONE!

8.  See new things

February: Brattleboro, VT with Brian’s parents for a day and spent 4 days in Boston

April: Brian and I ventured to Albany and Shelburne Falls over our spring break.  We also checked out the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail.

May: Hyde Park, NY with Brian for the day

June: 4 days in Ocean City, NJ

July: Northampton/South Hadley, MA

August: Washington/Oregon(more here!)
