		<description>Oh it is very confusing. I have found that most local is organic. It also has a smaller carbon footprint.  All vegetables and fruit must be washed before eating. I use a brush and scrub with warm water.
I would say it is better to eat conventional produce rather than no produce. More plants, less animal like Mark Bittman and Michael Pollen phrase it.
I did give up all white flour, white sugar and most wheat. I have never felt better and yes I have a sweet tooth. There are many natural sweeteners you could try.
I love this conversation as you can tell. I think the times was just trying to stir up interest. I think organic does mean better for the simple fact it has not been genetically modified and there are not chemicals used to produce it.
