2 years ago today, I was doing this:
Since we just got back from vacation, we kept our second anniversary celebration pretty simple. But not too simple, because I’m just not capable of that. While Brian was at class all day, I made The Pioneer Woman’s Pasta with Bacon and Mushrooms.

I was a little nervous about the brownies because I’d never made any sort of brownie from scratch before except these, nor had I made cheesecake. However, these brownies were really easy to put together and though my swirling technique isn’t quite as impressive as Deb’s, they taste absolutely incredible. Definitely appropriate for celebrating such an awesome day.
Happy Anniversary Mr. & Mrs. Pious! You two look great in your wedding pictures :-)
Congratulations!! That was a fabulous day and your dinner looks delicious – I want to try that brownie recipe.
And it was a great 2nd year anniversary dinner, yum yum yum.
I can’t believe that you never made brownies from scratch with all of the cooking you do!! Love your wedding pics! You are such a great couple!! <3 Jean
The thing about brownies is then you have a whole pan of brownies to eat. There’s only 2 of us and we never have enough room in the freezer. That said, I think I’ve recently been converted and brownies will be making more frequent appearances.
hooray! happy anniversary to one of my most favorite couples! (right up there with FDR & Eleanor!) xoxoxo
We’re ranked with FDR and Eleanor? I’m humbled. Thanks!
You seriously need to go to Hyde Park ASAP.
Congratulations on your two-year anniversary! I think your low key trip sounds like a lot of fun.
Hope you’re having a great summer vacation so far.
Happy Anniversary! I cannot imagine a better way to celebrate anything than with those brownies! Looking forward to keeping up with your blog!
