If you’ve been following along with Relishments for the long term, you’ve seen Pane Bianco on the site before. It was the very first recipe that King Arthur Flour featured as part of their monthly

I remembered Pane Bianco as pretty

Once I cut the rolled, filled dough and shaped it into the S, the roll began to spread open on one of the rolls. I used several toothpicks to hold the dough together while it baked. The filling on the outside of the loaf is a little darker than I would have preferred, but overall these loaves came out as good as the first time I made them.
Which is good, because it turns out that I didn’t take any photos of my finished loaves. So, here’s a photo of the Pane Bianco I made 2 years ago. If you’re looking for a fancy bread recipe that utilizes summer flavors, make this one.

Each month, the folks at King Arthur Flour post a recipe and tips for the #Bakealong challenge. Anyone is invited to make the recipe and share their creations on social media. It’s a really fun way to try new things and be part of a community. If baking interests you at all, you should join in next month. Let me know if you do!

Just a reminder, by way of full disclosure: I have no affiliation with King Arthur Flour and received no compensation for writing about Bakealong. I’m just participating because I love to bake!
Looks like a good one for me to bake!
