I do not talk enough on this blog about how awesome my husband is. I try to make sure that I do so in real life, but I don’t write about him a whole lot here, except in passing. But this week I’m appreciating the fact that, after a full day of professional development over an hour away from our house, he drove straight to the farm to pick up our CSA share, making his day quite a bit longer than it would have been otherwise. This was all while I enjoyed the fact that I didn’t have to leave the house at all on Friday, except to hang out with my friend Jen and her husband to watch the opening ceremonies; an event I told Jen I was “not dressing up for”. We often go to the farm together and it may seem like a small thing, but I very much appreciated the opportunity to stay home, get things done and relax. And, he did a great job picking out beautiful produce for the week.
