I made it last week, because celebrations of things as important as chowder should last more than 1 day. I substituted an extra carrot for the parsnips and used full fat half and half, but otherwise I followed the recipe exactly. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly it came together and how thick and hearty the chowder turned out. Enjoy!
