Not reading this month’s book club book. It’s The Glass Castle, but even though I requested it from the library in September, I’m still waiting for my copy. Here’s hoping it gets here soon!
Watching Food: Delicious Science on Netflix, a BBC turned PBS show about the science behind food. Very well done and interesting.
Appreciating how wonderful the past 11 (!) months have been as a family of 3. It’s hard to believe how soon she’ll be a year old!
Eating Brownie Brittle, which I bought on a whim when the perfect (and always dangerous) combination of a sale + a coupon + an ibotta deal occurred. A friend of mine recommended Brownie Brittle last winter and now I understand why.
Drinking all the hot apple cider, and Sam Adam’s new seasonal Harvest Hefe.
Ordering dresses from Amazon. I’ve never bought clothes on Amazon before, but I’ve gotten some recommendations from friends and I’ve been pleased with what I’ve received so far.
Looking forward to the long weekend. September weekends were very full (but very fun) and I’ve got big plans for staying home, cleaning the house, baking and playing board games.
Finding motivation from my new FitBit Flex 2. It’s been very encouraging to be able to check how many (or how few) steps I’ve taken each day and I’ve been reminded to make sure I get enough sleep. I’ve never had a fitness tracker besides my phone before and it’s really fun.
Listening to Star Trek: Deep Space 9 in the background. It’s my husband’s latest Netflix binge.
