Since I just rolled in from spending time with my family in Maine enjoying a belated Christmas, I don’t have an amazing 2012 summary written up (though I’ve read some fun ones). 2012 was a good year though. I watched my sister get married, climbed Mount Greylock, completed my challenge of trying a new grain every month for a year, attended my third Healthy Living Summit, and made progress on my 101 in 1001 list.
It’s just not the end of December without an annual year end round-up:

There are no shortage of book lists this time of year, including the Best Food and Agriculture Books of 2012 (Civil Eats), the 10 Best Non-Cookbook Food Books of 2012 (Serious Eats), 10 of the favorite 2012 cookbooks from Serious Eats, and “15 Cookbooks That Made Me Love Cooking More” (The Kitchn).
