One of the things (besides lack of time) that kept from posting menu plans in the past year is that my plans sometimes seemed too simple to post. But in the interest of transparency and consistency, here’s what we ate last week. It’s a mix of cooking projects, reheating items from the fridge and take out. And I guessed what we had for sides half the days. Real life.
The Pick Ups

The Plan
Change Your Life Chicken (The Lazy Genius) with fennel, potatoes and onions over rice
Zucchini and Ricotta Galette (Smitten Kitchen) with sliced tomatoes
Celery Soup (from The New York Times Cooking No-Recipe Recipes) with Cornbread (Basics with Babish)
snack plate/leftovers
hot dogs, coleslaw and sliced tomatoes
Cascetelli pasta with red sauce and peppers from our garden
take out from Nara Sushi in North Adams
Plans for Remaining Items:
blueberries – snacks
green beans – side dish next week, I forgot we had them!
swiss chard – main dish next week
onion – something next week, TBD. Onions are easy to use.
