Wow, the past week was a fast one! On Monday, Brian and I ventured to NYC for the day to participate in an Escape the Room adventure with some friends of ours. It was really fun and, though we weren’t successful, I’d totally try one again. While we were in the city, we also checked out Eataly (which has a nutella bar!) and grabbed cookies at Momofoku’s Milk Bar. A good day, all around, despite the excessive amount of time spent in transit.
Other highlights from last week included meetings for both my summer and winter jobs, working as much as possible at the summer job and attending a food and wine tasting that I’ll be writing more about on Tuesday. Yesterday my sister came to visit with my two awesome nephews and we spent the day playing outside and snuggling the baby. It was a good week, but a full and fast one.
Also, we’re only about a week away from school starting. My brain is rebelling against getting back into any sort of routine.
The Pick Up
