After a 4 month hiatus while I (somewhat) got my act together, Relishments Bakes is officially back. I’m excited to get back into the kitchen with a self-imposed challenge this month. It’s been surprisingly difficult to find the time to write up a post and I’m proud of myself for finally making it happen. Hopefully, this month’s recipe will be less difficult. I hope you’ll join in!

Relishments Bakes – February
In addition to getting back in the kitchen recently, one of the things I’ve been enjoying has been cooking with my three-year-old daughter. Anytime I’m headed to the kitchen, she’s right on my heels, asking for a “job”. Knowing that my time is limited, I kept her possible involvement and interest in the final product in mind for this month’s challenge. We’re making crackers. Though I’ve always found the idea of making my own crackers interesting, my experience begins and ends with a single attempt at homemade Cheez-its. I’m excited to try something new.

These options all look really interesting:
- How to Make Crackers at Home – The Kitchn
- Beer-Rye Crackers and Pickled Red Onion Hummus Plate – Healthy Delicious
- Pimiento Cheese Crackers – Bon Appétit
- Flatbreads with Honey, Thyme and Sea Salt – Smitten Kitchen
- Life-Changing Crackers – My New Roots
- and, if you haven’t made them yet, Cheese Crackers – Serious Eats
As always, the Pinterest board for this month has lots of ideas too! There are so many I want to try!
Don’t forget to use #RelishmentsBakes on your social media posts and tag @relishments so I can see your cracker results!
