It’s been quiet around here lately, I know. I just loaded my site and looked at the last post and even I was surprised at how long it’s been. The end of the school year is always nuts and Brian and I have managed to add a few additional commitments onto the usual craziness. Throw in the fact that I’m still over a week away from a CSA pick up and the result is that my cooking lately has been neither organized (despite attempts at planning), inspired or original.
But I have tried out a new (to me) recipes that I’m definitely going to make again. I’ve also slacked at photographing anything, so I’m embedding the Pinterest pins for each of the recipes along with the links. Go ahead and pin, save and try out these recipes for yourselves!
Honey Ginger Lemonade Health Tonic from Back to Her Roots
I loved this delicious twist on lemonade. It was easy to make and the spiciness of the ginger was right up my alley. I think I’ll be drinking a lot of this over the summer.
Crispy Baked Buffalo Chicken Fingers from Sally’s Baking Addiction
I’ve always been a big fan of anything “buffalo” flavored and these chicken fingers did not disappoint. The cornflakes work perfectly as a breading and the recipe made lots of food.
Quickie Faux Phở from Budget Bytes
Beth has figured out the secret to making a broth that satisfies my craving for take out and for that I owe her a lot of thanks. This is a recipe I know I’ll be making again (next week?) and would love to experiment with different toppings and ingredients!
