Chocolate Cherry Beer Bread

  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 12 ounces 1 bottle Sam Adams Cherry Wheat beer
  • 1/3 cup bittersweet chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup sweetened dried cherries


  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Combine the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a large bowl. Stir with a fork to combine.
  • Add the chocolate and cherries and combine evenly.
  • Pour the beer into the dry ingredients and mix until no dry flour remains.
  • Pour the batter into a greased 9x5" loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour.
  • Allow to cool for at least 15 minutes after baking, then remove from pan, slice and serve. Enjoy!
