Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Combine the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a large bowl. Stir with a fork to combine.
Add the chocolate and cherries and combine evenly.
Pour the beer into the dry ingredients and mix until no dry flour remains.
Pour the batter into a greased 9x5" loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour.
Allow to cool for at least 15 minutes after baking, then remove from pan, slice and serve. Enjoy!
