Between Trips (CSA Meal Plan #156)

Published on July 13, 2024 By Emily. Updated on July 13, 2024

There’s less than a week between our trip to Maine and my next trip away from home. While we were gone, we delayed last week’s pick up until later in the summer. In just the week that we were away, the amount of variety available for pick up increased and I’m very excited about some of the items we were able to get.

Tomorrow, I’m headed out of town for a bit – more on that in later this week – but the rest of my family will be home. Luckily, Brian is more than capable of running the show and taking care of meals in my absence.

The Pick Up

lettuce mix, broccoli, Haukrei turnips, cucumbers, gold beets, lettuce, snap peas, radishes

The Plan

kielbasa from Pekarski’s Sausage, roasted potatoes, and veggie sticks (carrots, turnips, beets, cucumber)

Broccoli Pizza (Smitten Kitchen) – one of my favorite recipes

buffalo tempeh salad, tempeh adapted from Post Punk Kitchen

church cookout

French toast with bacon and blueberries picked at Mountain View Farm

Brian plans dinner, I’m out of town

Kids and Brian have dinner at his parents’
