Bread has been the theme for the weekend.  Yesterday, I shared on Instagram a photo of some loaves of bread rising and then the finished product (seen above).  I got a lot of comments and likes, which clearly means I need to share photos every time I bake.  This afternoon, Offbeat Home and Life shared on Facebook my 2014 guest post, “What do you mean you ‘bake all your own bread’? And answers to other frequently asked bread baking questions” on their Facebook page.  Clearly, bread is in the air.  As I’ve written before, bread baking has been part of my routine since 2013, though I’ve switched to using recipes from Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes a Day over the past year, which has allowed me to produce even more impressive and delicious bread than I was before, in a fraction of the time.

Of course, I’m not so narrow-minded as to think that sandwich bread is the only bread worth making.  I’m always on the look out for new bread ideas – cornbread, quick bread, whole grain.  I’m a just a big bread fan.
