Making: a shopping list, a menu plan and a to do list. I actually have time to accomplish some things this weekend and it’s going to be productive!
Cooking: mashed potatoes (which I never think to make, but will be revisiting soon), kale and delicata squash, all left over from last week’s CSA pick up. We got more vegetables today. Next Friday, there will be less leftovers because this week there will be plan!
Drinking: Sam Adams Octoberfest, my first “fall” beer of the season, I think.
Reading: information about the SpaceShipTwo crash…it has been a bad week for space…
Wanting: to put off my end of marking period obligations and waste all day tomorrow playing on the internet. It’s a constant battle, at all points in the marking period.
Looking: for Christmas gift ideas. Yes, I’m one of those people.
Playing: “Who gets to hold the candy bowl?” with Brian every time the door rings.
Wasting: time, in an effort to avoid the dishes.
Sewing: nothing, but I’ve said nice things about starting a number of projects (skirts, curtains, pajama pants) and I sewed a button on the jacket for Brian’s Halloween costume last night. Feel free to share your sewing inspiration in the comments or on Facebook!
Wishing: that more kids were coming to our door trick or treating. We had a lot last year even though it was raining and I expected more this year. I hope it will pick up soon, because I love giving out Halloween candy.
Enjoying: a Friday night at home. We had one hour less of obligations this afternoon than expected and it was so nice to go to the supermarket then come home and relax. I’m also enjoying episodes of West Wing and the aforementioned candy handing out. We just had 3 Elsas at the door. Love it.
Liking: the new She Reads Truth Android app. I’ve been waiting for its release for months and it is finally here. I’m so looking forward to using it first thing tomorrow.
Wondering: what I’m going to do for Brian’s 30th birthday next year. He did such an awesome job for my birthday and I need to plan something of equal caliber. Now taking submissions…
Loving: Fall. And the approach of the winter holidays. As much as I hate the cold, I adore the Christmas season. Tomorrow it will officially be November and I can really start being one of those crazy people who starts listening to Christmas music way too early…
Hoping: that I sleep in just enough tomorrow morning. I’d love to wake up without an alarm around 7:00 and then enjoy a morning that’s productive and relaxing. We’ll see…
Needing: to be warmer. Why did I decide to wear tights on such a cold day?
Smelling: …nothing, actually…
Wearing: my Halloween costume
Following: the lead of many other people and eating all I can handle in Halloween candy
Noticing: how much I like Whoppers. Why do I never buy these?
Knowing: that my husband is awesome. Because he just is. Also, he’s The Doctor.
Thinking: that I wouldn’t still be writing this post if I’d finished filling in my October editorial calendar. My apologies to everyone.
Feeling: tired. I’m an old lady.
Bookmarking: restaurants I want to try with Brian tomorrow during our outing. (More on Tuesday!)
Opening: more browser tabs than is appropriate. I just can’t help myself.
Giggling: about how cute that dinosaur costume just was…
