This time of year, there’s an annual debate that occurs. In this debate, I am firmly on Team Apple. Though I didn’t always feel this way, at this point in my life, I’ll take an apple cider (always hot) over a pumpkin spice latte any day.

To that end, I’m celebrating apples this month. We’re making apple turnovers (or some other apple pastry)! I’ve never made turnovers before and it remains to be seen if I’ll make or buy my pastry dough, but I’m really looking forward to eating these.
