Oh no a broken jar! I’ve been lucky thus far. We’re blueberry picking next week for jamming if you’d like to join in :-)
It was our first open jar. I’m wondering if it wasn’t one of the ones I bought last year, but an older one that we were given. Miraculously, nothing else in the canner was damaged.
mmm…they turned out delicious looking. :) I love a cold crunchy pickle on a hot day. Maybe I’ll pretend that I’m passing though and stop by. haha
Well, you’re welcome to stop by anytime, but we’re trying to hold out on opening pickles for awhile.
Ahh yes. That would indeed defeat the labor of canning, wouldn’t it. :)
