Hello blog world! Turns out getting back to blogging after having a baby is a little trickier than I anticipated. Though my daughter is getting a bit more of a routine every day, my routine definitely doesn’t include getting out my laptop to write. Also, I’m not doing much cooking that’s worth mentioning lately. But things are good, really good; I just have to figure out where posts are going to fit in to my new life.
In addition to major life changes, there’s also been some changes to our CSA. Mighty Food Farm moved from Pownal, Vermont to Shaftsbury. We were considering finding another farm, as pick ups would now be 20 minutes farther away, when they added a Williamstown pick up. So, our new pick up is now even closer than the farm ever was. It’s fantastic (though I do miss going to the actual farm – hopefully we’ll get up there during the summer occasionally) but the new pick ups are on Mondays. So, instead of doing my menu planning on the weekend after a Friday pick up, I have to figure out some other time to create a plan with whatever we pick up. Needless to say, menu plans won’t usually be going up on Saturdays or Sundays anymore. But I’ll do my best to get them up whenever I can!
The Pick Up
spinach, kale, cabbage, acorn squash, beets, sweet potatoes, butternut squash, potatoes
The Plan
Sweet and Sour Slow Cooker Meatballs (Wholefully)

Savory Cabbage Pancakes (Budget Bytes)
with sausage (2 meals)
Creamy polenta with kale and white beans
with roasted acorn squash
breakfast pizza with spinach
with roasted beets
