Seeking Input: Menu Plans, Tag Sales and More

Menu Plans

Now that we’re back to regularly scheduled weekly pick ups at the farm, I’m faced with a dilemma about the posting of my menu plans.  For starters, I want to go back to posting menus after the farm pick up, so that I can be sure to include the new produce in my plans.  Making sure I use the vegetables would also mean returning to a weekly menu planning format, instead of a biweekly.

The questions:  How you do feel about my menu plans?  Should I continue to post them – on a weekly basis?  Would you be interested in an after the fact weekly, bi-weekly or monthly summary of what I’d made?  Should I drop menu plans all together and just highlight meals that have been especially impressive?  Or should I return to a variation of what I used to do, sharing what we picked up at the CSA and how I plan to use the items, but not necessarily sharing a whole menu?

Tag Sales

I’ve been spending many of my Saturday mornings driving around the Berkshires checking out tag sales. It occurred to me today that some people may be interested in reading about that sort of thing and/or seeing my finds.  I’ll write the posts, if there’s interest.  Let me know!

Anything Else?

Despite the cool temperatures and wet weather, we Despite the cool temperatures and wet weather, we had another fantastic year at @freshgrassfestival. I can never get over how, in addition to all the incredible music, the event features a great venue (@massmoca), delicious food from mostly local vendors, a great local beer tent and bar stocked with @berkshiremtdist and a kid-friendly atmosphere including a @kidspacemm art tent.
Shout-out to some of my favorite acts of the day @ajleebluesummit, @cj_field with @gregcaproni and @theblacklegacyproject.

Looking forward to next year!

Until next year!

I made my first ever trip to @seconddropfarm in La I made my first ever trip to @seconddropfarm in Lanesborough this morning to pick blueberries with my daughter. We had a lovely time at the farm, and especially enjoyed the short walk to the lush blueberry bushes, and the beautiful flower and lavender fields. We didn't participate in pick-your-own flowers today, but it's definitely on my radar for the future.
We are looking forward to some muffin baking soon! 🫐
