Have you heard about Yummly? It’s a way to discover, share and store recipes from sites you love.
I’m loving using the site – it’s like Pinterest, but just for food! It’s super easy to sign up for an account and so easy to add recipes to your recipe box. You can set your profile to reflect your diet, allergies, level of cooking skill and favorite cuisines. You can even list disliked ingredients! The site will then help you explore recipes from a mix of bloggers and brands that fit your preferences.
The search feature is FANTASTIC. When you start typing in the search bar, autocomplete options appear. After you submit your search, you can limit results to include or exclude ingredients, be appropriate for a specific occasion, search things you’ve already saved, be Asian or Mexican or another cuisine, use a specific technique and more. It really is impressive and I’m looking forward to using Yummly for my menu planning in the future.
A Yummly page for Relishments was created as soon as a recipe was saved from my site. Not all the Relishments recipes are on there, but I’m working on it. If you have a favorite I haven’t shared yet, go ahead and save it to your Yummly recipe box!
I’ve also updated the sharing options here on the site. At the bottom of each post, you’ll now find buttons to share to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Yummly, Google Plus and more. Sharing this site (in any way) is an easy and great way to show your support!
