Words can hardly express how excited I am that it’s CSA season again! The time between the end of our winter share and the beginning of the summer share was only 9 weeks, but it seemed like a really long time!
We sprung for the medium share instead of small, since we consistently used up our share this winter. For the first pickup, since it’s still early in the season, our item number was 8, instead of the 10 it will be once things really get going. Brian and I came home with a 1/2 pound of spinach (2 items), 1 pound of carrots (several of which were consumed before the taking of this photo), 4 baby bok choy, a head of lettuce, a 1/2 pound radishes and a dozen eggs (2 items). I’m really looking forward to consuming all of those greens. It’s been a long time!
