Remember Christmas? It was only 10 days ago, after all. But for some reason (and I’ve only been back at school for 2 days) it seems like a lifetime ago. Going from vacation to work again is like whiplash.
So let’s go back a couple weeks ago, when I was in North Carolina wearing a t-shirt instead of shivering in my own house and watching the sunrise on the beach instead of leaving for work in the dark.
Christmas vacation was wonderful. It was so good to see family, some of whom I hadn’t seen since the wedding, and unplug for a bit. As per usual, the boxes under the tree resulted in a few useful items for my kitchen:
this tea towel designed by catstudio (they do a ton of different designs)
a Real Simple subscription
a pair of Pottery Barn taper/pillar candle holders
several boxes of tea (you can never, ever have too much)
and of course my new dishes
Love.
Love.
Love.
Love.
Love.
I’m already looking at catstudio to make my wishlist.
